The South House Sexual and Gender Resource Centre (formerly Â鶹´«Ã½ Womens' Centre)
South House provides support to women, and by extension, all people dealing with oppression. South House believes in working together for the creation of a society that is vibrant, life-giving, and safe for people of all genders.Ìý
South House provides: Wheelchair accessibility,ÌýWireless Internet, Cable, DVD and VCR access, Beautiful front lawn and back deck for lounging, reading, being…,ÌýFull shower and stocked bathroom,ÌýÌýand Ally Space,ÌýHelp with School,ÌýCommunity Garden,ÌýFunding for your projects, ideas, conferences, etc.,Ìý,Ìý,Ìý…and MORE. The Native Education Counselling Unit (NECU)
The Native Education Counselling Unit (NECU) located at 6286 South Street. (upstairs) is open from Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 4:00pm. The NECU has three computers, printers, photocopying, in house resources, and study areas. We offer an environment where students are able to do their school work and also connect with other Aboriginal students. If you are not on the email list and would like to be please send an email to nativeed@dal.ca.
Global Health Office
In 2001, theÌýGlobal Health OfficeÌýwas established at Â鶹´«Ã½ to support faculty, residents, staff and students engaging in education, clinical and research programs related to global health. ÌýFor more information, Global Health Office .
