Law Hour: Confronting Canada's Housing Crisis - A Conversation with Minister Fraser
Law Hour is pleased to welcome (LLB '09), Canada's Minister of Housing, Infrastructure and Communities, back to his alma mater to delve into the government's approach to Canada's ongoing housing crisis.
Prior to his first election as a Member of Parliament for Central Nova in 2015, Fraser graduated from Â鶹´«Ã½'s law school and subsequently practised commercial litigation and international dispute resolution. He has also previously served as Minister of Immigration, Secretary to the Minister of Finance and to the Minister of Middle Class Prosperity and Associate Minister of Finance, and as the Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Environment and Climate Change.
Schulich Law students stand to gain valuable insight from Minister Fraser on the intersection of legal practice, public service, and the pressing challenges that define our personal and professional experiences.
