This workshop will provide practical tips to help you manage your time well, set goals, and eliminate procrastination.  Managing Time & Avoiding Procrastination, will help you identify your priorities, highlight different time management tools, learn how to manage your semester, and discuss procrastination coping strategies. One of our program’s eight experienced study coaches leads this hour-long synchronous workshop. It features in-class activities and take-home handouts to support your development of new time management strategies!

Open access: Improve impact, fulfill funders, and keep your cash

Facilitated by Melissa Rothfus, PhD, MLIS (she/her) Scholarly Communications Librarian, Â鶹´«Ã½ Libraries

Most people have heard of open access publishing, but many misunderstandings and misconceptions persist. Many funders require open access publication which improves accessibility and potential impact. However, publishing in an open access journal can be extremely expensive and some free options do not fulfill funder policies. This session will dispel myths, clarify options, and prepare researchers to make informed decisions about where and how to publish and share their work.
