At Â鶹´«Ã½, sustainability is about more than what we teach in the classroom. We recognize sustainability as a key part of our future growth and a way we can contribute to the future of our community. It's about what we do as a community and how we do it. It's talking the talk and walking the walk.

Dalhouse Office of Sustainability

The Office of Sustainability is Â鶹´«Ã½'s administrative department that focuses on campus operations and events driven to engage and enhance the experience of the Â鶹´«Ã½ Community.The Â鶹´«Ã½ Office of Sustainability works to incorporate sustainability concepts and criteria into policy and planning, building and retrofit projects, and operations. The Office strives to engage and encourage student, staff, and faculty in practicing sustainable behavior. The Office works with many campus and community partners to achieve its objectives. By ourselves we are one, together we are a community!

Student Union Sustainability Office (DSUSO)

°Õ³ó±ðÌý is a student-run organization that strives to create a culture of sustainability within Â鶹´«Ã½ Student Union (DSU) operations, thereby improving our university community by making the DSU an ecologically aware, economically responsible, and socially equitable institution. °Õ³ó±ðÌýDSUSO is also active, organizing and participating in events like Green Week, Dump and Run, and the Great Shoreline Cleanup at Point Pleasant Park. 

President’s Advisory Council on Sustainability

°Õ³ó±ðÌý provides an ongoing forum for sustainability discussions at the university. The Council includes membership from faculties, departments, student organizations, and community members. The Agricultural Campus has a Sustainability Committee that reports to PACS. There are sub committees of PACS that focus on a topic during a certain period of time.
