What you'll need
In addition to the minimum general requirements for admission set by the Faculty of Graduate Studies, the School of Pharmacy has some additional requirements for entry into the MSc (Pharmaceutical Sciences) program. Â Â
Academic background
- BSc (Pharm)
- PharmD degree
- BSc (honors) degree
You can also apply if you have equivalent demonstrated research experience in a related scientific field such as:
- pharmacology
- biochemistry
- chemistry
- microbiology
- chemical engineering
- biochemical engineering
- completed MD, DVSc, DDS, or equivalent
Letters of recommendation
You will need at least two letters of support from a faculty member with first-hand knowledge of your academic abilities such as a thesis supervisor.
International students
If you are an international student you will also need to demonstrate an ability to communicate and write in English (TOEFL > 600).
Other ways to enroll
If you do not have these prerequisites you can enroll in specific classes at Â鶹´«Ã½ in consultation with a potential graduate supervisor. Entry into the MSc (Pharmaceutical Sciences) in a later academic year will be dependent upon satisfactory performance in the chosen classes and is not guaranteed.
